We conduct web-based and traditional elections with client groups all over the world. Along with email and post, SMS messaging is becoming more and more important as a mode of contact for members to receive their voting information. We run a 5 Room Guest Accommodation Business and when we started out some years ago we had learnt from similar businesses that one of their greatest problems was tying down guest ETAs on the day. Most bookings are made well in advance OnLine and ETA shown as "not sure". If not on the booking form we work at extracting mobile numbers and on the morning of the booking send a text "your room is ready" etc and requesting confirmation of ETA. 90% reply which means we can make use of our day and not sit twidleing our thumbs..

We find it creates a relationship with guests before we meet and gives an opportunity to say "we missed the train" etc.

Using a keyboard rather than mobile is great

We use TextMagic to contact our manager, staff, suppliers and friends in Senegal, West Africa. We make and teach the West African Harp, the kora and take people to our rural home there to learn the instrument and experience another culture. We are based in Wales but staff are there all year round as it is their home too, and communication is often difficult - SMS is the easiest and simplest way to get important information to them.

We have found that many mobile phone provider networks are unreliable and texts don't always arrive - they are expensive yet provide a poor service. In contrast TextMagic has been 100% reliable and is very cost-effective - if an SMS fails it is because there is a problem with the receiving phone.

If I need to know someone will get a message I use TextMagic. It is the cheapest and most reliable way of getting an SMS through. Keep up the good work!

We use Text Magic to contact clients who do not have email, to prompt trustees to check email, and may use it to allow clients with a speaking/hearing impairment to make bookings. Having used it for about 12 months I can testify that it is very easy to use and am happy to recommend it to others.

I have used TextMagic regularely for years with our family calendar sending reminders and general messages.
I needed a service that was flexible, easy to set up and use and after a lot of research I found that TextMagic offered the best service and price.
I have developed an interface for using the sms service with the calendar and there has never been a hitch.
As a web developer I have also set up TextMagic services for my customers and its a breeze...
Since we privately are a multinational family I have also recently set up our own online sms service to send sms's abroad since this is cheaper than using our domestic mobile services.
I highly recommend TextMagic since it has been very reliable and both a time and money saver for me and my customers.

Normally notification of new voice mail is sent to the client automatically by email, some of our clients do not have smart phones or data packages, we use TextMagic's TextMe e-mails to send notification to these clients. Simple and effective.
