Yes. Inside any automation flow you can combine SMS and email steps in any order and sequence you like. Each step can be timed independently and targeted to the right audience using conditional splits (useful for making sure marketing messages only reach contacts who have given the relevant consent).

Yes, in some markets. Unregistered messages are simply filtered by carriers before they reach your customers. Textmagic provides guided flows for number registration and verification.

USA and Canada (including Puerto Rico):Registration is required. Toll-free numbers are available for all three locations and work for most WooCommerce stores. Verification takes around five business days. 10DLC numbers are also available for the United States if local presence matters for your brand.

United Kingdom: No registration required. A dedicated UK virtual number can be purchased and used straight away. It’s the right option if you want two-way communication with customers. Sender IDs, where your store name appears as the sender, are also available for one-way messaging.

Australia: No registration required.A dedicated AU virtual number can be purchased and used straight away. You’ll need to share a few details about your use case during purchase, but there is no verification process. Sender IDs for one-way messaging are also available but can take up to 14 days to be approved, so plan ahead.

Other countries: Dedicated numbers are available for purchase in Austria, Czech Republic, Estonia, Finland, Germany, Hong Kong, Hungary, Indonesia, Italy, Lithuania, Malaysia, Mexico, Netherlands, Norway, Slovakia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland. Sender IDs are also available in select countries.

Already have a number with Twilio, Vonage, Bandwidth or Sinch? You can connect it to Textmagic directly through the BYOC integration and send messages using our user-friendly interface.

If you’re new to Textmagic: All your existing WooCommerce customers are imported as contacts when you run the initial sync. After that, new customers are added automatically and updates in WooCommerce carry through to Textmagic in real time.

If you’re already using Textmagic: No existing contacts are affected. If a WooCommerce customer matches a contact already in Textmagic by phone number or email, their record is updated with the latest data.

Does the sync work both ways? Contact data flows one way: from WooCommerce into Textmagic. Edits you make to contact records in Textmagic don’t push back to Woo.
