About Secure Deposits Ltd

We rent out safety deposit boxes to the members of the public. We have a grade 10 strong room with over 5000 lockers using bio metric and RFID technology in our access procedures.

The business challenge

Contacting existing customers discreetly and effectively to relay important information regarding contract renewals and changes to our opening times during holiday periods. We needed to do this with a minimal budget but also in an effective way.

How Textmagic helped

The ability to use a ‘mail merge’ function allowing us to conduct multiple message campaigns tailoring each SMS with customer specific information taken from our current database. We used XL spreadsheets holding customer data for this.

The results

We now have a weekly routine of targeting customers whose contracts are near their expiry date. The results are instant with most customers responding within 24 hours. The SMS they receive contains their customer specific data and shows who its from, so the message is very effective.
