Charges for messaging and other services are deducted from your prepaid account balance as you use them. Please refer to our full pricing table for a detailed breakdown of all features and rates.
While we don’t engage in price-matching or negotiations based on competitors, we focus on delivering high-quality service at a fair price.
For our loyal customers in the USA, Canada, Australia, and the UK, we offer monthly subscription plans that include:
- Discounted outbound text messaging rates
- One free virtual number
- One free Sender ID (available in the UK and Australia)
These plans help frequent SMS users save more while enjoying reliable messaging services.
There are no hidden fees. Our full pricing table clearly outlines all costs, so you’ll always know exactly what you’re paying for.
To start texting, you must subscribe to a virtual number or register a Sender ID, depending on your country’s requirements. This is a monthly subscription, and the cost is automatically deducted from your prepaid credit. For local US numbers, a monthly 10DLC campaign renewal fee also applies.
Yes, your payment information is fully secure. Textmagic does not store any credit or debit card details on its servers. All payment data is handled and securely stored by Stripe, a leading PCI-compliant payment gateway that meets the highest security standards in the industry.
UK customers
All customers from the UK will be charged VAT 20%.
EU customers
To ensure VAT is not applied to your payments, add your company’s registered VAT number to your billing information in Stripe. Once validated, VAT will no longer be applied to your payments.
US customers
Textmagic applies sales tax to purchases in accordance with state-specific nexus laws. The applicable tax rate depends on your location and is automatically added to the total purchase amount at checkout.
If you are eligible for a tax exemption, please send your exemption certificate to [email protected] before paying.
AU customers
All customers from Australia are not charged GST (Goods and Services Tax) on their Textmagic purchases.
You are charged for every SMS or email sent, regardless of whether it is delivered. This is because each message incurs a fixed cost on our end. To avoid unnecessary charges, it is important to verify and clean your contact lists regularly.
Messages rejected before sending, due to unsubscribed contacts, invalid details, or supplier rejection, are free.
Prepaid credit does not have an expiration date and remains valid indefinitely.
Textmagic may close accounts that have been inactive for 24 months (no logins or SMS activity), which can result in lost credit. For more details, please refer to the Terms of Service.
Yes, you can request a refund for any unused credit. To do so, please contact us and include the following details: your name, company name, email address, and the reason for the refund request.
It depends on your location and setup. Here’s what you need to know:

United Kingdom
You can send texts immediately after onboarding and selecting a UK virtual number or a Sender ID. Learn more about texting in the UK.
Australia

Yes.
With our BYOC (Bring Your Own CPaaS) integration, you can connect your existing CPaaS provider and virtual numbers directly to Textmagic.
We support providers such as Twilio, Vonage, Sinch, and Bandwidth, and you can connect multiple providers if needed. You keep your current rates and routing while managing everything through the Textmagic interface and features.
Billing is handled separately – you’ll receive one invoice from Textmagic for the BYOC service and another from your CPaaS provider. Message delivery and routing remain the responsibility of your CPaaS provider.
You’ll receive replies in Textmagic Messenger, by email (if enabled), and via push notifications in the mobile app.
SMS sender options depend on your location. Personal mobile numbers aren’t supported.
We recommend you use:
- A local Textmagic virtual number for two-way texting.
- A Sender ID (if supported) for outbound texts only.
You can also port your virtual number or connect your CPaaS number (e.g., Twilio, Vonage, Sinch, Bandwidth) via BYOC.
No. Textmagic virtual numbers support local messaging only and cannot be used to send texts internationally. We recommend using BYOC for international texting.
No, bulk MMS is not supported. You can:
- Send bulk SMS with attachment links globally
- Send a single MMS in North America via Messenger with a verified toll-free or your CPaaS number
- Connect and use WhatsApp, Facebook, or Instagram to exchange single multimedia messages
To stay compliant with SMS regulations:
- Obtain consent: Only send messages to recipients who have explicitly opted in.
- Include opt-out and help options: Add clear instructions like “Reply STOP to unsubscribe” and “Reply HELP for help.”
- Use approved sender types: Send messages through registered toll-free or 10DLC numbers where required.
- Avoid misleading content: Keep your messaging honest, relevant, and free of spammy language.
- Follow local regulations: Respect country-specific laws, especially for marketing and promotional texts.
Textmagic provides free tools to help you stay compliant across regions, including opt-in forms, sample SMS Terms and Privacy Policy for 10DLC, and practical guidance on compliance, such as tips and support for Toll-Free and 10DLC registration.
Yes, Textmagic provides SMS delivery receipts for text messages, indicating whether your message was successfully delivered to the recipient’s mobile network.
However, read reports (confirming if a message was opened or read) are not supported, as this functionality is unavailable in standard SMS protocols.
Yes, you can start sending emails once your domain is verified. It is recommended that you warm up your domain first by starting with a limit of 500 emails per day. This approach helps establish a strong sending reputation for your domain.
You can choose where to receive replies to your email campaigns:
- Option 1: Your own email inbox – Replies will go to the email address you are sending from.
- Option 2: Textmagic inbox (Tickets section) – To receive replies as Tickets in Textmagic, you need to:
- Set up a Textmagic inbox in the Tickets settings.
- Choose your Textmagic inbox as the “Reply-to” address when sending emails.
This way, you can track and manage replies directly within the Tickets section of the app, completely free of charge.
No, you cannot. Free domains like @gmail.com and @yahoo.com are not meant for bulk or commercial emailing.
The only possible option is to use your own paid business email domain.
Domain verification proves you own the domain and builds trust with email providers. The warm-up process slowly builds your sending reputation to improve deliverability and avoid spam filters. Both are needed to build trust and a good reputation with email providers.
Yes, with Textmagic, you can send single emails and mass email campaigns.
You can also use Tickets to send individual emails and receive support inquiries through the Textmagic app, free of charge.
Email Campaigns let you simultaneously send email broadcasts to many recipients, making them perfect for newsletters, promotions, and announcements. The cost of sending one email is 0.003 USD, GBP, EUR or 0.005 AUD.
Tickets are for one-on-one communication, helping you manage individual customer support inquiries (for example, replies from your email campaign) directly in the Textmagic app, completely free of charge.
To stay compliant with the email industry standards:
- Obtain permission: Always send emails to recipients who have opted in.
- Include an unsubscribe option: Make it easy for users to opt out.
- Use verified domains: Send emails from verified and authenticated domains.
- Follow content guidelines: Avoid spammy language, use clear subject lines, and include your company’s physical address.
- Monitor engagement: Regularly check open rates, bounce rates, and spam complaints to maintain a good sending reputation.
These practices will help you maintain deliverability and protect your brand’s reputation.
You can track the following key metrics:
- Deliverability (delivered vs. failed emails)
- Interaction (open and click rates)
- Compliance (unsubscribes and spam reports)
- Operational metrics like cost and send time
Regulatory compliance is required to protect both you and your recipients. Textmagic acts solely as a service platform provider. You are responsible for ensuring that your platform use complies with all applicable laws and regulations, such as GDPR, CAN-SPAM, CTIA, and other local rules.
Compliance is important to:
- Respect user consent: You must have permission to send emails or messages to your recipients.
- Protect data privacy: Personal information must be handled responsibly and securely.
- Ensure transparency: Your messages must clearly show who the sender is and include an option to unsubscribe.
- Maintain deliverability: Following regulations helps avoid blacklists, spam filters, and protects your sending reputation.
Staying compliant is not just a legal requirement — it also builds trust with your audience and improves the success of your SMS and email campaigns.
The compliance approval process depends on your location and the services you use.
SMS Service
- In North America, Textmagic requires 10DLC or TFN verification, which typically takes seven business days.
